What are the theories of motivation? And which motivation is used by Howard Schultz?
Howard Schultz used the theme of “The Starbucks Experience” as the
important key principle. There are 5 key principles which are make it your own,
everything matters, surprise and delight, embrace resistance and leave your
mark. With the help of 5 key principles, Starbucks could able to become
worldwide business and produce a quality of coffee to people. Moreover, he also used Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs to
motivate his employees.

theories of the Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs as a guide of being a leader, other

and happiness.
Self-actualization: He actually did a constantly seeking
information and feedback from partners and also often sending emails by personalized
phone calls to ask for advice and feedback on products through store locations.
